Ensign’s premium services include contract drilling, directional drilling, underbalanced and managed pressure drilling, rental equipment, well servicing and production services.

Two Ultra-high Spec 3,600 Horsepower Land Drilling Rigs (the “Rigs”)

The Rigs are considered state-of-the-art land drilling rigs and were specifically designed for drilling high pressure, high temperature and deep wells. The Rigs are each equipped with advanced components and capabilities, including a walking system, an automated control system as well as other advanced features. The Rigs’ profiles also include 1,500,000-pound hook load capacity; 850-ton top drive; and three 2,400 horsepower Quintaplex 7,500 PSI mud pumps. The Rigs were constructed in 2014 and are located in Mexico.

Undisclosed Buyer

The Undisclosed Buyer is led by an industry veteran who has significant contract drilling experience across Latin America, particularly Mexico.
